The town of Moorvale has staved off the automotive industry since its inception. Bicycles have always been the accepted mode of transportation. Until now, when a weak-minded but ambitious mayor is beguiled and persuaded by an unscrupulous businesswoman to allow the manufacture and sale of cars in Moorvale. Motivated by the prospects of becoming very wealthy, the mayor willingly agrees to the businesswoman’s plan and begins by banning bikes while allowing the businesswoman to open up a car dealership. However, the townsfolk are not all in agreement with the mayor’s decision to allow cars into the town and definitely not in agreement with the decision to ban bikes.
